He may mean the temp sensor on the head??

Disconnect the pink wire in the ebox to bypass it.

The pink wire has been disconnected since I bought the ski, there is nowhere to connect it from the cdi

It appears that stator is a 61x. See how the brown wire is attached to the coil on the bottom.

The 62t would go up the side to the top.

the plate castings are different. the 62T plate is extended where the larger coils mount for more outer support. the smaller 61x coils are the same diameter as the raised area that the coils bolt to. look at the pix
