Super Jet Project, Re-Paint

Ok, so here is the ski I recently picked up from Pat, having the whole thing redone and repainted. Going with Black pearl base-fading to silver pearl towards the back, and Tangelo Orange. Should look hot when its done. Mitch is doing all the work for me, he is located in Hudson Fl, and man can this guy can paint. Anyone needing paint work, I highly recomend you get in touch with him. He's extremly reasonalbe, and your ski will be off the hook. I will post more pics next week when its done!

Cant wait to see finishe product. How much is he charging you and will it be base clear or an Imron type single stage paint?

He is chargin around $1400 bucks, but that includes stripping everything off the old ski, hardware, paint etc...also it needed some repair work, had cracks in the hood, hood was splitting at bond line, and major gouges on the bottom all needed to be repaired. If you had a clean hull that needed less work it would be alot less money. The guy is reasonable and he does awsome work. The paint is 3 stage, and its getting 4-5 coats of clear.

The intake is off now, This is the first ski he is doing, so some of the disassembly required my guidence.
The vett is my partners, its a frame off restoration.. Should be one hell of a ride when its done.
