Super Jet Project-Repaint, Finished Product

Ok, just got the ski back, and all I can say is WOW!! This thing looks bad arse in person. The pics look good, but in person it a work of art!
As a tribute to Pat and X-metal, and all he does for our sport I had Mitch air brush the x-metal logo on the back sides of the ski, as well as the nose. For right now these are the only Logos going on this ski. Pat is a great friend, and has me tremendously when it comes to not just riding, but also keeping my stuff running right. That being said,,,,Dont let this sheeot go to your had Bogie, your still an old man, and your friendship fees are past due....hahah:haha:
Seriously thought, congrats on The nationals, and WF's It could not have gone to a better guy!!!:arms: :arms:

I wish I thought of that

SWEET! now im assuming that that is a base coat/ clear coat paint job? i dont know much about paint but im looking for someone to paint my hull one day. very nice ski. im jealous.

I think it would actually be considered a 3 stage paint, the base color(candy) the actual colors, then clear. But I would say what he did is more complicated than that..... 1) base color was layed down, then the silver over it, graduating with 4-5 different colors to achieve the fade to black toward the back of the ski, and the pearl over all that, and then 4 or 5 coats of clear over all of it. It took Mitch about 3 weeks to complete the whole thing. The guy is extremley talented and very reasonable with what he charges. I highly recomend him, he is located in Hudson Florida. PM me if you want his number.
