Super jet runs lean in one cylinder

Hi, I have a 94 superjet 701 with a single buckshot carb and a factor B-pipe, I recently rebuilt the topend and put carbon fiber reeds in. The past weekend I took it out to break in the new topend and about half way through the tank all of sudden it had like half the power, when I got it back home I pulled the plugs and the front plug was normal but the rear looked almost band new like that cylinder is running lean, the compression is good and has spark, any ideas on what it could be?

Did you look at the pistons and compare the burn patterns on the crowns? If the "rear" piston doesn't have any indication of a burn pattern, is clean like your plug, it is likely you have water intrusion "steaming" the components clean. Something to look into, considering you just did a "top end". Good luck and have a great day. Edit: looked at the picture of your plugs again. Looks like you are getting fuel as the residue on the sparkplugs compression rings look to be the same. I would look for a leak at an o ring or gasket that could be letting water pass.

Yes you were right, the guy that rebuilt the motor o ringed the head and RTV'd it to the cylinder, so when I pulled the head the o-ring was completely crushed and cut not to mention 3 of bolts were loose.
