Custom/Hybrid Superfreak/ Aftermarket Tray Drains

I have a onewaywalve from enginebay to tray. When exhausttube in tray go hot the tray is pressured. When it goes colder it suck air from enginebay in . And i have stainless inserts in with screw to drain the tray if needed .

Blowsion,vplug and TR RC drain.

Yeah I agree even these larger scale versions. Its like the plastic is sticky. I have switched to the blowsion valve for the moment. The ball is super shiny and nothing seems to stick to it.

I had same thing happen to my ski and it caused some leaks. Installed a few vacate valves, one bulkhead and 1 for the tray and all seems good.

Any pics of where you installed them? I am not sure there is enough real estate on the exhaust side.

I removed them but there is space on the lower left of the exhaust. Enough for even a full size versaplug (kawi thread) to be epoxied in. See the new flatwater rickters. Right now just running dual scuppers and a separate tray drain. Installed a kawi drain housing port side with a versaplug or blowsion vacate valve. Not even that low. seems to get a lot of the water out while riding. Also lets me flush out the tray compartment after saltwater use.

i originally got shonet for having it about 1/2" off the bottom of the left chine or lowest point of the hull. Could not mount it any lower as the lwde has multiple threaded inserts for the ride plate really close and a lot of epoxy/something really fing hard around them blocking the lowest point of the hull anyway.1.jpg

It works. Not going to lose any sleep over a little water not draining.
