You need a RN hull if you are going to be riding in the surf... I'll even help you get rid of that "crutch" by trading you my RN for your CF.

I was in Daytona all weekend with the family, my plan was to bring my ski and sneak off for a few hours but my back was tweaked earlier in the week so I decided not to bring it. Sure enough, I felt great by Sunday, FML.

ya that thing was ironically a perfect fit for FL surf! i rode it on one cylinder and still loved it! does not ride anything like most tiny flatwater hulls.
Tem is a killer surf rider but that thing will do exactly what you want it to do and no surprises!

Thanks for the good words guys, that ski is really fun and I can't wait to get it in some bigger, cleaner, faster surf to see what happens . I'm pulling the entire electrical system out for a swap as the running on one cylinder thing as you go to do something isn't as much fun (sorry Nick ).
