The Circus is easily one of the best hulls on the market. Solid as a rock, carves very well, very stable, flips off nothing. I have never heard anyone ride a Circus and say that they did not like it. It also makes monster setup wakes. SUPER fun to ride.

99% of the people who buy a Circus are buying it for flat water freestyle since that's where it excels and there's no doubt it is on the top of the food chain with a few other hulls for that purpose. I'm not a flat water guy so I won't comment on the flat water capabilities since my skills would hold back any freestyle hull in flat water but I have also ridden a Circus in surf. A lot of people own one ski and ride mostly flat water but like to ride surf at the free ride events and I can say this hull is very rideable in surf in fact I thought it was very fun and I was pleasantly surprised how well the nose stayed down and how stable such a small hull could be in surf. It was very flickable due to the size and you could really just approach a wave straight on then slash it real hard and rip around before you got rolled. Being that it's so short you could really get out of trouble quickly by throwing the ski around. Looking down at the ski while riding it looks tiny but the way it rides you would never think it was so small since it's so stable and predictable. I haven't actually met anyone that rode Tems circus in surf and didn't like it. I'd like to ride it in better conditions and with more power to go harder but if I was land locked and limited to flat water but made trips to the surf this hull would be a contender

. < in depth review right there. I never rode it in surf, but I did ride one of tems with a 1200 in it. It was the most fun I've had on flatwater. It's crazy how easy it is to jump on it and rip around without having to learn the hull.

Now that the circus hull is being built by Thrust, I'd really like to hear some reviews from anyone who has ridden one, or got an up close look at the fit and finish on the hulls (I know there were a few in a Daytona last year)
The circus is on the top of my list for my new build. I'd like an used Tem built hull, but I'd also like to purchase new so I can build it exactly how I want it. Really considering purchasing one from Thrust but I'd like to hear some feedback on the build quality of them first.

I rode my first circus (Tem Built) last week and I was instantly in love with it. It immediately took the number 1-2 spot of my favorite hulls that I have ridden. It was a great mixture of freestyle capabilities that was super comfortable to ride.
FYI, @jo5hi3 might have his Tem built Circus for sale in the near future, although I am guessing it is already spoken for.

If set up correctly the circus is capable of anything you can throw at it. Ive Got over a year of time on mine and I love it more every ride. Buy a new one and don't look back.

I have only ridden a badass, but it has been my favorite hull to date. I was on the thrust site the other day and see they still offer the badass as well? Does anyone know the difference to the circus other then weight and length

All..finally got to ride mine after being down all summer....it seems fun but seemed heavy to me....mine is probably a little underpowered and my skill level might be a factor as well...Tem did not build mine..see my review on circus....think there are much nicer free style hulls out there but have not ridden a Tem built one either....
Circus is a much smaller hull than the badass. Tray is shorter as well. Circus is setup and designed for 155mm and larger pumps. It has a totally different intake and pump shoe setup. No intake grate is used, instead it is integrated into the hull.
Some earlier reviews of Tem's surf circus are a little misleading. His surf circus was the original plug for the circus hull and it was much heavier than a standard circus. This made it ride much differently in surf than a std circus.
The circus is a flatwater type hull that handles much better than a typical flatwater type hull. It is not, however, an 'all-around' type hull like the badass.
If you want an all purpose ski, badass is much better choice. Get a shorter length carbon badass if you want it to be more capable for flatwater also.
