build is under way. tem installed the pump today and said it should be water tested and tuned on wednesday and shipped out by friday

Go ahead and let them inspect your ski. The only thing I could foresee them complaining about is lack of designated space for a fire extinguisher.

Best place if you have to have one is in the front of the tray inside a front foothold. Under the hood seems dicey!

Yeah... much much more difficult to get a ski registered in CA.. that is why many of them are registered in Arizona.
