Superfreak Round 2

Here are a few better pics.... Once again, Sano killed the turf! Flawless. Got the mag pump in and aligned, trim cable ran and set up, pump section is pretty much complete. Also got the pole on, steering setup, and all of the cables and such up through the pole. When I received the pump it had 1/2 inch fittings tapped and had a 1/2 down to 3/8 elbows on it. I swapped them out for 1/2 90 degree fitting and ran 1/2 hose to the through hull fittings. Coming out of the bulk head on the inside i got a manifold from mcmaster that has two 1/2 inch openings on the sides then has 3 3/8 fittings coming out. Then i will run one to either side of the exhaust manifold, and one to the bottom of my headpipe, then 2 out the head overboard, then out of the top of the headpipe overboard. I will post pics of that later. Here is what i have so far, still waiting on my motor from judge...

Got the steering lined up the best I could via eye sight, cables routed good, trim all set up, and front footstrap installed as well. Also pulled up one of the mounts that someone put down inside the hull and took out the left front battery box bolt to get the limited slip tank to fit better.

I think once the holes are drilled for the pole plates you are kinda committed. I don't see a problem with slotting the holes slightly to shift them for better alignment. My Superfreak pole hung to the left too. Never noticed it while riding and the clearance in the nose for those top pole plate nuts in the hull is real tight. I'm not a perfectionist as much as I used to be. I just want my sheit to run good so I can ride haha
Honestly though if you can leave the pole in place and loosen up the nuts for the pole plates I bet you could shift it into place by pulling the pole at the steering end for leverage

But the hull is molded around those brackets, with out pulling off the brackets, shortening the side of one of them, and oval out the holes, I don't see it moving.... Aka, it's staying to the left! Lol

Finally got the call that my motor was done and ready. Paid for everything and should see the motor Thursday. Just in time to throw it in and lake test it Saturday, then head to Daytona Wednesday morning!!
