How are you guys securing the turf that wraps around the back? Just adhesive to the underside of the hull or any bolts/plates?

You want that foothold to where it seems your foot is NOT going to fit. You need it so tight that you have to violently kick into it. Once you're in, you're not coming out. That's exactly what you want.

Like RMBC is saying, look at my pad in the pics. From what you see l take and heat the turf when l get to the end of the tray. Then bend the turf down and under the tray making it (turf) form to the curvature.Run a piece of wide masking tape along the rear edge under the tray to keep the glue off.You can expect that some of the edge will come up during the season. That's why they invented Superglue! l will post up some pics of mine finished to show you what it looks like. Now get busy!

And thanks Bill for helping mr Gunter out with the pad! That's what we have the X for man!

leave a little toe room by sanding off a 1/2" or so in that area either on the tray, the wing or both , for a no jam the toe fit . be careful when sanding the black underlay it is grabby.

I am going to be turfing here fairly soon too, how much turf would be needed for OEM tray on SN SJ with Toby holds? and i am debating about running turf around the rails too... anyone? ball park? and for the black underlay???
