Looking at buying a carbon superfreak locally, owner dosnt know what model hull he has wondering if there’s a way to tell or if anyone on here knows the ski

It is Tem built from seeing the pole mount style which means it is most likely a -4.3.

what year did tem stop building them? with a 950 dasa and 148mag pump would it be a decent flatwater ski?

It's a Superfreak Badass. Not sure on the length. Here is a pic I took of it in Daytona in 2013. One of the Canadian riders will know more about it. @Mdavies_02 any idea?

I think the ski is a 2011 or 12, great ski for chasing boats and doings flips, riding small surf! I would choose a different ski for flatwater.

I had a couple badasses and at -5 , it's too long for strictly flatwater. 1000 wasnt enough power for that hull. Great boat chaser. It would do fw but not good for combos. They do ride excellent

haha yeah, I owned it for a little while...than sold it to a guy in timmins which put the big motor in it then he sold it to probably who is selling it now.

It is a 2012ish badass -4.3 with the long plate and -9 with the short plate. hull was modded in the linked build thread above in this thread by another forum member.

fun hull, should never have sold it.
