One of my favorites as well. I first saw this build like halfway through thinking it didn't look that hard. So I started my own sn. Holy man talk about a lot of work and craftsmanship. It was way more than I bargained for but I got it finished not nearly to the Quality of this build tho. Lots of respect now enjoy the new ski!

Kind of second guessing the idea of selling this now but I am still considering it. In the mean time I spent the weekend making some changes. I had a bit too much padding in the footholds so I opened them up and put down some new turf.

The rails are also painted black and I'm going to paint the bottom of the hood black one of these days so it all matches. I added a small curved aluminum piece to the end of the ride plate in an effort to create some more lift at higher speeds, I didn't check my fluid dynamics book but it seems to be working. I'm also finishing up the front foothold and fire extinguisher holder.

I wish I had some more riding footage to post but honestly I'm not really that good. For now my book of tricks consists of 180's off setup wakes and no-handers. I'm practicing stabs and rolls more but I'm just at the point of having the setup wakes down. Hucking spins off boat wakes is pretty fun though and maybe one of these days I'll throw in some backie attempts. The good news is I pretty much have the ski dialed in. More updates as they come..

IMO you put way too much work in that beautiful ski to sell it. If you do, I think you just might regret that decision.

I managed to finish up the fire extinguisher holder and mounting of the front foothold today. Almost ready for the water again and this time legal (just need a hin tag).

I might try to get the bottom of the hood painted tomorrow night and fine tune a few more things then drop it back in this weekend.

Nice! Is that a tube, or foam? How did you do it?

Its a PVC tube and end caps wrapped in turf with some underpad inside each cap.
