The market changes depending where you live simply because it's a small sport. Here in the Washington DC, Maryland areas Rn Sj prices are way down. There's a 2014 on the dealer floor for $6750 here why pay $4800 for that ski above!? Yeah so an so ski might have mods but to me a stock all new unmolested 0 hr ski is far more appealing. So for ppl to move their old ski in this area you can't ask high prices like its 2010 still.
For sure. The area/region has so much to do with the prices. I still see random superjets just sitting rotting away in the driveways of the wealthy here. And most aren't that old. Like early to mid 2000's. One dude has a 2009 on a trailer in his garden that hasn't ever moved since 2009. Oem cover on it and all.
Agreed. I found a 2000 laying in the weeds a few years back. Got it for $300. Had a bad pump, bad steering cable, bad carbs and a motor that would have blown up within 5 hours of riding. But hey. Clean papers and girl ridden, nice boat to turn into a surf beater. Squares go from 1000-2500 here and RN goes from $2500 with 61x motor-$5000 for minty fresh low hour used stock.
My buddy had called on this to buy and the guy seemed legit but he said the ski and him self was in las vegas, i cant believe this hasn't sold yet thats what makes me suspicious if i had 3500 i would buy it in a sec.
