That second pic was hard to look at. I WISH I had the stock rail caps still. Just turf is hard on the elbows after a while; need some more padding under there on my ski. You may regret destroying the OEM rubber ones. They go for at least $20 on eBay.

Who puts their elbows on the siderails?urr: ............:biggrin:

I usually just lay the ski over on its left side, put my right foot in the tray, and hit the throttle. No need to tire yourself out by pulling yourself up into the tray. Let the ski do the work.:biggthumpup:

You are right though about them being the most forgiving on the elbows. Part of me wishes I would have left them on their when I turfed.

Just for $hits and giggles I looked those rail caps up on Riva's Site and they run $108.66 a piece.:bigeyes:

Todays progress

Finally have kickers rivited and sealed, it never fails when your in the middle of something you run out of something.
For me it was rivits, thought 40 would do but had to stop in the middle and go to the hardware store, and just got there before they closed. but all in all I was successfull so here are a few pics.:arms: :arms: :arms: :arms: :arms:

XMAS side project

:biggrin: Finally found my hand holds for my spare hood,so since I was bored with nothing to do today here's what I did, (PICS), and now I have to spend Xmas cleaning my garage after tearing it apart looking for those DAMB hand holds. OH well one more thing done before spring.
