Fairing Compound

MADE SOME MORE PROGRESS TODAY finished sanding glass and applied fairing compound, one more step closer to installing turf. I'm hoping to do a test ride next weekend. On another note, getting the guts out of a SJ hood is quite a nightmare here is a pic of the mess that little job creates!!!:cheer: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

My ski's sitting on its side - I've pre cut some biaxial weave cloth and am wondering what to do with some ridges (cut off or foam over then glass)...

New Gel Formula?????

I picked up some contact cement yesterday for my turf install but after getting home looked at the can again and noticed it looked different. It says GELL FORMULA. any one use it? It will be easy to take back but I am curious if anyone has used this on there turf. I have used the normal original formula on many different projects in the past, laminate counter tops, self edge, gluing the cat to the wall :cat40: :Banane01: ETC.If anyone out there is gellin like a fellin let me know if there is a big difference

Actually the gel formula works pretty damn good as I used it on my last turf job and its held up great ever since.

The Gel is AWESOME! :Banane01: I helped Aaron with his turf and he accidently got the gel formula, and it was way easier to work with than the original that I had when I did my turf, plus it is still holding up the same.
