Super top secret. LOL no just the hose clamp. The new, new XScream trim rings have two groves to assist. I modify the boot from Xscream some like P&P weld up the trim nozzle, that is my opinion is the best way to make it bullet proof.

LOL, the trim and all the parts are a temporary build. Come on who needs an experimental 148 pump on a 701 surf ski. LOL it will be a blast, I may throw the 964C in there for fun once back from VA. Bruce, send me some domes i dont have any 33s. Call me sometime, im no 701 guru any more.

Havent seen any picts yet. Ski was a lot more powerful than i had figured it would be with a 701. Still have some low end fuel issues to figure out but as soon as the temps warm up locally well dial her in. The xscream trim with boot was great. Never figured id ever try flat spins on a SJ but they were fun on this. It must have something to do with the hull weight also as this ski was more flickable than i remember SJs being

Pulled the carbs and wnet through the jetting. Tuning was spot on in a XFS with a stock pump. A little Full spec tuning love to these stock 38s and shes now sounding great on the trailer. new N/S, and a jet down one size. The 148 pump may be loading the motor a bit more than stock down low, which could also be playing into the tuning difference. Water test to follow hopefully this weekend.

Much too lean on the bottom with the new settings but luckilly the screws did the trick. Very close now. Once the water is warmer ill get her perfect. Great fun riding it yesterday.
