Superjet Fuel Consumption

How fuel efficient are Superjets. Now im not in this sport for fuel efficiency but im wondering how they are. Ive heard sxr are horrible on gas. How much riding can you do on a full stock tank? I will be riding with a few 750sxi and I dont want to be "that guy" that always needs fuel. Thanks for the help

the 750's will be outa gas before you. The sxr's are gas hogs, because of how heavy it is, and its 800cc's. My superjet is single carbed, and its better, but not too much better than my sxr.

My ski is a completely stock 1991 650 SN.

My tank is roughly 6.5 gallons (est, including reserve).

My runtime without reserve is 45 min (approx) and 10-15 min on the reserve, hard riding. I let Kim ride and the run times double.

I ride a SXR and my buddy a 01 superjet. Both are stock carbs and roughly the same mods (Wetpipe/B-pipe and other bolt on mods). I hit reserve and he is usually at about 1/3 tank.

my 750sx with stock pipe uses more fuel than my SN 650 w/pipe/head/etc
then I put a pipe on the 750, rejetted,
and it uses almost twice the fuel of the SN!!

With stock carbs we run from the launch ramp in San Diego harbor out to the point for at least an hour and make it back hitting reserve. Guys with aftermarket carbs take another two liter (coke) bottles with fuel to add and run the same amount of time
