Superjet gas?

I have 2 2001 kawasaki 1100 cc 130HP sit down jet skis. I have a Kawasaki 1100 STX-DI (3seater) & a Kawasaki Ultra 130-DI (2seater), both fuel & oil injected. They are not very good on gas at all. I know compared to say the supercharged skis they are, but still to me seam bad on gas.

I was wondering how the SJ was on gas? And how much worse does the mialage get with performance mods? Can anyone compair the gas mialage to my curent skis?

I can't decide if I want to get a new sport bike (CBR600), or a SJ. I know I can afford the gas to stunt the bike pretty much everyday, but I don't know about the SJ. I can't really aford to take my 3seaters out everyday & I just want to get the most riding time in on whatever I get as possible.

So how much gas do you guys go through in a day & how much riding?

Depends on the motor, style of riding, and weight of rider.

I weigh 195lbs, got a ported & piped 717cc Roundnose with a single 48 Full Spectrum carb.
I get about 2 hours of flatwater riding or surf riding out of one full-to-the-brim tank.
Past setups have been very similar for me.

Another guy I ride with has a 650 Superjet that goes through gas much quicker than that. Why? Because the rider weighs quite a bit more (250ish), and because of the limited performance of the motor he's on full throttle all the time.

All flat water riding with minimal WOT runs. I don't really do much riding around, just a lot jumping/freestlye I get about 6 hours out of a tank. I weight 190lb and the ski has b-pipe. My 650sx gets about double that for a full tank.

my 650 SN burns about a gallon per hour. I refill the couch much more often than the SN and it is only a WR500, but the kids hold the throttle on it wide open continuously.

5-8 gallons per-day of riding pretty much all day on my stock 701 at the lake.

When you first get it you'll be probably only on for 3-4 gallons at a time.
