Freestyle Superjet getting water in engine when running ????

I just rebuilt the engine and noticed it would bog down on top end.. wasn't sure why until I pulled the plugs and seen water in there. Where could this be coming from ?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

im assuming when you say water you are getting a milky substance like this:

mine was caused by a small pin hole in the transfer ports through to the cooling jackets

a leaking head or exhaust gasket could leak water into your motor. you didn't do a leakdown test when you were done buliding the motor? that would have shown you had a leak. a quick (and dirty) way to check for a leak is plug the cooling waterline going into the bottom of your exhaust manifold (with your thumb) and remove the one from the head and (maybe use a clean new hose) and suck on the line. you should be able to pull a vacuum and plug the hose with the tip of your tongue. it should hold if there are no leaks into your motor. my guess is it won't. (if you have dual cooling you will need to plug all cooling lines except for the one you suck on)

i had a similar issue,

i fried an exhaust gasket, allowing water into the exhaust ports and into the motor from the water jacket of the exhaust manifold.

also a bad/fried head gasket, which i had about a year ago.

Im getting ready to tear into it soon. Im guessing its at the exhaust manifold gasket. I noticed a little salt build up there on the outside so if its on the outside i would assume the gaskets not holding. As far as leak testing i didnt do. I have been in motocross all my life and have always wrenched my own bikes... but Im knew to the jet skis. Im definitely learning the hard way and its costing me lots of $$$$. Thanks for all the input... I appreciate it!

Can anyone tell me a good post about rounting cooling lines... I would like to have a better idea of exactly how the plumbing works. Im not sure what dual cooling is either.
Thanks.
