Super Jet Superjet handle pole spring on aluminum pivot bolt?

I recently installed a blowsion rrp handle pole with an aluminum pivot bolt on my 2004 SJ. Can I put the aftermarket featherlight handle pole spring on the aluminum pivot bolt, or do I need to put the stock stainless pivot bolt back in?

I had that setup on my ROK, and the pole bolt is half worn through from the spring.

I just did and i don't expect it to last forever. Ive seen stainless bolts get worn from the spring rubbing too. Spend a bunch of time heating and bending so the spring fits nicely, or have someone make a thin sleeve that fits over the pole bolt and between the spring.
