Im a newbi but whats the highest compresion i can run on pump gas and what cc domes make that pressure or how much to mill head to get that stock superjet factory dry pipe duel carbs
What would be a good after market headFor pump gas, I like to stay in the 170-175 lb range to be safe.
Aftermarket heads = 37cc domes
The headshell has either studs that go into the cases to sandwich the head and cylinders tot he cases, or you have a bolt system that bolts the cylinders to the cases then has longer bolts that thread into the cylinder bolts to hold the head down. This puts all the support on the cases. When you run a dry pipe, that is alot of weight and force that gets transmitted to the cylinders. With the Girdles, this helps to keep the cylinders from cracking. What does girdle head mean?
So your saying the bolts that come from the factory do not have adequate enough thread engagement to hold down the cylinders?
Maybe try facebook then... hard to interpret the good from bad here.Wow wait wait wait......i just want help with building my superjet guys
