Hi, Im over in FtLauderdale from the UK in about 3half weeks for a month and was wondering where I can have a play on the water, lake or sea just need a weeeee escape....!!!

markham park, boyton inlet, lake ida, haulover, west palm beach, john u Lloyd, and a couple more places. I just went to boyton today for the first time its pretty treacherous out there, I dont know how it compares to other beaches. if your gonna ride surf you need someone with you.

Thanks for the info, what size waves do u get at boyton normally... I'm normally out on my own but do take flares, radio, epIrb & I know my ski is reliable...

Yesterday The waves were at my neck so about 5 feet but it was super choppy, thats on a normal day. The worst part was riding in the cut. This was my first time riding surf though so it may be normal to you.

Spot on, looks perfect.... For us that's a medium day in the winter but unfortunately it also comes with rain, sleet, dark & moody sky's, howling wind with thunder and lightning thrown in for good measure... Yes our weather is rubbish..... !!!
