Superjet Longer Steering Options

I am running a -2 AC handlepole on my 1995 Superjet and used to run it with a stock steering plate and 0 degree bars. It seemed to ache my back a little when I was cruising but never unbearable. My question is, are there any aftermarket steering plates that use the same spacing as stock? I mean from the center of the steering pivot to the center of the bars. Seems like they are all shortened, and I understand that is what most people want. I am 6'4" though and i don't want to hunch over while riding. Is there anything wrong with the stock steering plate to begin with? I don't mind using that if it will give me the reach i'm looking for.

Stock plates work perfectly fine. Most guys switch to shortened plates or over pivot for less “swing” effect. More like a dirt bike or bicycle. And also aftermarket setups accept fat bars and use a bearing rather than bushings. But by far the biggest reason to switch? Billet Bro!

That’s perfect! Can you tell me the spacing of the bolts on the bearing kit for the mounting? My handlepole is already drilled... I’m hoping it will be the same spacing

I do no t know off the top of my head, but Ours is the same as UMI, RRP, etc, and I am pretty sure same as what you have there.
