Custom/Hybrid Superjet motor in sxr?

The motor mounting is the same for the SXR as it is for the 650 and 750 Kawi motors. You can buy the conversion plate that the X2 guys use for a direct bolt in of a Superjet motor into a X2. Should work just fine with a SXR. You will also need the Kawi style coupler for the Yamaha motor so it is a direct transfer to the Kawi driveline. I am not sure who is presently selling it. I think Crab was the 1st to bring one to market. Contact him, he might be able to point you in the right direction. Otherwise, check the X2 forums.

You know a SXR 800 makes more power right?
depends what your doing, he could have a deal on a stroker motor or something lined up kawis awesome all around power but for the money you put into an sxr motor(pipe,flywheel,head) you could pick up a big bore 701 ported motor and be ripping
