Waterdawg Kustoms SuperJet Polycarbonate Side Sponson
Has anyone tried the side sponsons on a SJ.The ones that are $75.00.It seems like they are too thin to make a difference but cheap enought to try.
What do you guys think?

Has anyone had a real world test on the WCFs? I remember Steve selling them for $150 a set but nobody ever gave feedback on them...

These were an inexpensive option four or five years ago when the idea of sponsons surfaced. They do help, no doubt. But, with the innovation that has happened since then you would be better off using something different. Just my 2 cents!!!

i had them on my last boat (not jeff's, different ones..)....and never noticed a difference one way or the other

one of them ripped off halfway thru the season, and I couldnt tell the difference in carving to either side with or without

After havening installed tubbies and looking at the wammer ones;I would have to get a set of wammer ones next. The instalation looks so much simpler and cleaner than tubbbies. Also tubbies can be a little too much at higher speeds as far as the effort you have to put into a carving turn. I have never tried the race tubbies or the tubbyIII's though.

I have R&D thin (stick out 1/2" each side) ones on Kelly hull and they seem to be more than enough but I have never ridden the thick ones. Her ski is fun to ride in the waves.:cheer:

I have the same on my ski and I really like the way it rides, but it is the only SJ I have ever ridden.
