ive ridden em..they seem to hook up better than tubbie 1s (i havent tried tubie 2s yet)but they dont have nearly as much float as the tubbies...How about the wamiltons ones: https://www.wamiltons.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=337
I have a used set in perfect shape I'll sell you for $100 + shipping.... cheap enough to try??? LMK
(These are very similar to Tubbies)
Has anyone had a real world test on the WCFs? I remember Steve selling them for $150 a set but nobody ever gave feedback on them...
These were an inexpensive option four or five years ago when the idea of sponsons surfaced. They do help, no doubt. But, with the innovation that has happened since then you would be better off using something different. Just my 2 cents!!!
Jeff
tubbie 2's are the best sponsons I have used
I have the same on my ski and I really like the way it rides, but it is the only SJ I have ever ridden.I have R&D thin (stick out 1/2" each side) ones on Kelly hull and they seem to be more than enough but I have never ridden the thick ones. Her ski is fun to ride in the waves.:cheer:
