Personal loan at a credit union would work. Not that I am a fan of financing anything, but you feel you need to, so that may work. Credit Unions generally float better rates than regular banks or dealerships. I see you tried one bank already, try another. Maybe an online bank line Wachovia.com.

I went through wacovia, cause thats my bank. We had awesome credit, and got approved for the credit part, but they wanted to see pay stubs, and being a server my stubb only showed like 8gs for the last year thanks to the 2.50 i make a hour. But the stubs don't show the tips... And they wanted to see that i make twice of what the loan is in one year since it was a unsecured loan.

Plus, i figured the ski was owned by the owner which is a older man, it hasn't been driven into the ground like most freeride SJs. The bottom doesn't even appear to have ever been beached either..

I don't plan on racing, i get enough of that nonsense from mx. All i want is a nice clean SJ with a prop and footholds to do some jumping and fooling aorund! I go fast on a track, no need to do so on water, i'd get a couch for that!!

Make sure the inside is clean - their right he might have had sons running it? $3500-$4000 would be good - go in with cash in hand. Go to the bank - line of credit - borrow from an aunt or uncle - but don't finance through dealer.
Plus ask them to promise you deal on parts - they're probably not going to sign anything to that effect but nice to have a good relationship with them.
Get them to prep it - sticky carbs?/seized cables? - (you don't really want new mat as you'll probably put footholds/turf on it. Give them the $3500 cash and tell them after they prep it you'll turf it yourself - thats $100 less they have to spend to turf)

Thanks! I got them down to 3800 plus tax. They said they were going to do the turf and a new battery and a full service on it for that price. I have seen worse condition stockers go for that much, so i think/hope its gonna be a good buy. Plus: It will keep me from buying a 5500 dollar sx-r!

We are gonna have it paid in less than a year hopefully. Thats our plan is to get it paid off over the winter. Sooner i pay it off, the smaller the intrest! I'm goign to go check it out this wednesday. What should i like for? Compression #'s on a superjet? Anything particular to yamis that i should look for, aka weak spots, any spots that can show how much time is really on it?
