Hi guys, bought a superjet 08 a couple of dags ago, great buy i thought after inspecting pretty much everything. Not so apparantly.
IT all began day two when one of the cylindars went out totally after 20 minutes. No spark at all. Managed to fix that issue by cutting the cable. That cylindar now runs but it runs really rough when flooring it. Same With the other cylindar which worked great during a longer period, that one is also running sluggish now
When you hold the throttle firmly at approx 30-100 percent it sounds like you are revving the engine, pushing and releasing the throttle.
Spark plugs are almost fouled really fast, They are wet. Fuel isnt an issue.
Modso of importance: factory b pipe and atp girdle head.
Spark is really weak i would say although i have never had any other superjet to compare With.
I have checkad the electric Box, had a Little water in it but hard to say. I saw a thread about meassuring spark plug wires, although that seems to be impossible without cutting the end closest to the coil.
I have changed plugs
Fuel filter
Tried several settings on high setting on the carbs
When one of the cylindars worked fine i tried that cable on the cylindar running bad. By then it ran fine. Although now They are equally bad.
Any suggestions? Spark plug wires or coil or what is the best bet?
Thanks in advance
