Took the ski out today and found that it was taking on a good bit of water. When I looked inside I could see a steady stream of water coming in the scupper. Is there a way to fix this or should I buy a new scupper.
Already check and made sure it was clear and it wascheck if there is any zip tie pieces or bolts/washers etc keeping it open.
It is a x scream scupper and I will try to mess with the screws and see if that works thank youWhat scupper is it? On my old 24/7 scupper I would add a little layer of grease where the flap met the alum trim. this would make it kinda sticky, once this stopped, would get a new flap. Also if it has an alum plate that screws to the top, you could try loosening the screws, sometimes when tightened too much it will force the flap away from the lip. My RRP scupper has leaked since day one on my edge.
Lake LanierWhere in Georgia are you?
Regardless, recommend replacing the scupper flap. The rubber will go bad over time and can rip and sink your ski. I replace my XS scupper flap every season. Cheap insurance. We have them in stock. It is a x scream scupper and I will try to mess with the screws and see if that works thank you
