Superjet Skat Trak 10/18 or Hooker 9/15

I'm building a RN Superjet fixed steer with a 62t/61x and a Factory B Pipe with a Limited chamber and I wanted to see what you guys think would be the best prop for low end punch. I had this same exact driveline in a SN Superjet with the Skat Trak 10/18 prop (non swirl style) and it pulled really well down low. If I put a Hooker 9/15 in there instead, will there be a noticeable difference over the Skat Trak 10/18 in bottom end punch? Thanks.

I would go with the 9/15 Hooker if you have stock porting . Or a Skat Freeride Swirl 13/17 cutback 3-5mm.

Thanks for the input. I know you guys know your stuff on this, so I figured I'd ask so I don't have to take my pump off again and change the prop out again.

The 62t/61x, I believe is all stock inside, stock porting, stock head, stock bore. I have a brand new 9/15 Hooker sitting on the shelf, so I think I'll go that route. Do you think there'll be a little more down low punch that is noticeable with the Hooker 9/15 compared to the Skat Trak 10/18?

Is the skat 10/18 a c75 swirl? (Big hub swirl)

This will be an "unpopular" opinion, but personally I do NOT like the 9-15 hooker on a SJ with ANY amount of mods. We find they work OK if you have a stock 650 SN, or stock 701 - BUT if you have a pipe, head, carbs re-jetted etc. I find the 9-15 will hit OK on the bottom and then is soft on the mod range, and top end.

If you are a lake rider, chasing boat waves, etc. you want mid range. Mid range is when you are up on plane, and moving forward.

If you are a freestyler, pulling off combo tricks, you then want bottom end. (180 hop into a backflip, into another back flip, another hop, backflip etc)

In a SJ with pipe, head, timing, etc we prefer the 10/16 hooker. And I am willing to bet you will too......

Agree 100% on pitch comments. Boat chasers and lake riders the Solas YQ big hubs work awesome when bent down. Most mid to top. Just like dynaflys in Kawasaki’s
