Last weekend I noticed my tray had a low spot in it and found the tray cracked up. I have known for a while now that my ski for sure has waterloged foam. It just never bothered me cause I could still have fun on it.
Here are some pics of the damage
I am trying to figure out what I can do to possibly finish out the year with it and try to fix it the correct way this winter. (Going to need some help with that)
My idea was to glass over the bad spot and then add a piece of aluminum over the top of it for some strength then turf over that to try to finish out the year. Any other ideas? I have some bondo fiberglass resin and some sheets of glass can I use that to go over the hole?
I can push the fiberglass down a good 1/4 inch. Shouldn't the foam be tight against the tray for support?
Thanks for the help
