Superjet trim setup/adjustment

Putting my trim setup on my new trixstar hull and notice it's getting pretty sloppy. I called protec and they think it's not there setup and it's just there steering nozzle.

Hopefully someone can chime in and recognize it.

Having a issue with stopping the nozzle from pulling past "straight" and pointing downwards

Thanks in advance

It should be fine if the steering nozzle points slightly down when resting. Once u get water pressure flowing thru itll straighten it out level. Mines been dipped for a while as the trim ring stopper wears into the reduction nozzle over time. Im using different trim, but seems like same issue, v minor.

Thanks for the reply. I'll get it together and see how it works! Iv been told by a few people to trim off some of the steering nozzle to help with quicker steering. Would that help?

Chopping some of the steering nozzle could help, you do have the longer style nozzle. Im not sure about any performance gains though. Some of my friends have chopped theirs a tad shorter, ive never tried any of that myself though

I think this is a thrust trim. I have this on my TrixStar as well. I attach a photo of the setup. The red hose is there because I did not have the appropriate rounded bolt for the pump. While it seems to have a little slack when you pull the lever with the pump off, there is quite a bit of tension in the water. Be sure to add locktite on all the relevant nuts as I had one come off while using the ski, that was a pain. I haven't modified the steering nozzle at all. I did have the cone bored out a bit by jet maniac.
