My block itself is stock, just new carbs and pipe, so Im not worried nearly as much about gas getting old as I am water in the system freezing and breaking something. I still cant help but wonder if thats why a weld on my waterbox failed (although it had been winterized). Starting the ski isnt a bad idea, but its still the same gas in there, running occasionally or not, and when we get a hard freeze I definitely would want some antifreeze in my ski. :shrug:
Sadly, since Im back in Atlanta, my neighbors aren't nearly as tolerant of 10' high fires belching black oily smoke. That really is the best way to get rid of old gas, I agree.
