FX-1 superjet wear ring to fit fx-1

who knows how to modify a sj wear ring to fit an fx-1???????? i wrote bob he might be busy but i havnt gotten a response????

either the tabs need to be cut and rewelded, or you need to do some cutting and glassing in your hull to allow a stocker to fit

I strongly disagree with re-welding tabs on the wear ring. If done so, the heat may warp the wear ring causing it to be imperfect. I wouldn't let anyone weld tabs on a wear ring unless they were a master welder. Even then I would ask them to weld a band all the way around.
