Superjet wont start

Ive had some serious trouble with my 2004 Superjet. Ive replaced the starter solenoid 6-7 times. Now I’ve tried to put another one in and when I hit the start button all I hear is the infamous single click. When I touch the positive and negative wires together without the solenoid to see if it will start all I hear is a low pitch buzzing noise. Ive even tried to use another battery and the same thing is happening. Is it a bad connection, bad starter motor, somehow bad solenoid? Thanks.

Sounds like either bad starter or a bad cable/connection. Does it crank slowly?

6-7 bad solenoids is unlikely even with a garbage a/m ebay solenoid.

As stated above you need to first make sure your engine actually turns over. Try By hand on the PTO.

By touching your two Positive wires together at the start relay, you are providing 12 volts directly to the starter. (As long as you have 12 volts). You really should test with a volt meter, test at battery, test at starter, etc. A full charged battery will be 12.75 volts. It should not drop below 10.5 to 11v when trying to crank. (testing at the battery) if it does your battery is bad.

DO the same test at the starter. If you have a drop here, you may have a bad cable. (Pos or Neg)

If all passes it is then your starter is shot.

If you're able to turn it over via the PTO, I would check the integrity of your ground, it's very susceptible to corrosion. A bad ground would keep the battery from being able to send enough amperage to fire up. Good luck

Heres is the easiest way IMO.
Find a battery thats is fully charged and with enough amperage (18AH+). Hook the battery to the positive and negative cables.
With a multimeter sat on 12v DC, put on probe on the little bolt on the starter motor that has the red positive cable, put the other one on the positive post on battery, now hit start button.
Any voltage that shows, is your drop voltage over the positive side. ideealy you should have 0V drop voltage here
Do the same thing for the negative cable that runs from battery negative post to the engine block.
Any dropvoltage above 2volts, would mean that cable or line of cables are bad and needs replacement.
If NO drop voltage shows, it indicates that your starter motor probelery is bad.
