I've been thinking about that paint scheme for over a year now. Kinda like the measuring setup they use on the bridges here. Very similar to the pic you posted.

In fact if you check my build thread you'll see a pic I posted about that same idea.

The biggest thing that got in my head was getting hurt. IT DOES NOT HURT TO PANCAKE. When you make it its butter smooth, and when you don't you just try again. A few cold ones will take that edge off of being scared (by no means do it hammered)... Zeroclient on here tried a few last time he went to the surf with us. And he is on his first year of riding. He is ready to try again next weekend. Pretty sure slicing your hand open on a zip tie while working on your ski is more painful than a failed flip..... DO. NOT. LET. GO.

stop over-thinking the trick, stop thinking about not getting hurt. Get out and do it... once you get one complete, you will know the feeling... then start flipping off everything you can find and it will become second nature.

IMO over-thinking will psych you out every time.

<< this pic is the first time i did mine. i was hungover as all hell and was during the cherry popper contest at our yearly comp in perth. lets just say my motivation was a solas 12/18 as a prize and i wanted it bad. i nosed it in and spewed in my helmet from excitement/beer coming back up. its all in your wave choice dude. wait till you see that bad boi fluttering on the lip and just forget everything but holding on. you'll land it and i swear to god you'll have the shakes for the next 2 days :D

Surf has been nonexistent the last two weeks...killing me! Future forecasts don't look promising either.
