About 5 or 6 years ago, my family was staying in a rental house at Rosemary beach. I brought my couches (pre SN days). My bother and I put in at Lake Powell and then had to drag those dang couches across that sandbar/beach. What a chore that was.

it was about 25 feet across today, i hit it pretty hard and sisnt quite make it across. ill make it next time thou. it was a smoother transition than i thought to the sand. we had to drag them back to lake powell because it was so steep you could hardly get up the first side with out tearing shat up. mark brought a ski rope thou and that helped us drag them back. all in all it was a good day, i cant wait to go back again.
