Those things have been dropping like flies around here, every week another dead 800 or 1200 shows up, so far I have built an 1100, a 1200 NPV and a 1200 PV, I have a 1200PV to put a complete engine in, a 1200PV to build the top end on, a completely dead 800 and a 2004 800 with a locked up engine that I haven't broken down yet, a guy called today with another dead 1200 PV and a guy called with another dead 800.It been quite busy, damn I miss working on Seadoos.

WFO- Whats so bad about the Yamaha 66v or 66e? The 66v motors aren't the problem. The main killer of those is the oil lines falling off. Other than that they are great motors once converted to premix.

the crank was damaged i will post some pictures of the damage
i think that was the oil mixxing system

Same story every time, oil line falls off, power valve drops, engine dead, customer sad, pocketbook empty.

i seems that i will need some really hard job since the 66v works with powervalues (electrical )
so i will need to install the complete engine to suv with the ignition
i don't know if the stock 65u pipe will fit to 66v (because of the powervalues)

Nothing interchanges between the two engines other than maybe a few bolts and a starter solenoid.

No. You may be able to use the starter solenoid and the battery cables.

Trust me when I say nothing interchanges between these two engines, I have several broken 800r,1200 NPV and 1200r engines here broken at any given time.
