You do realize the FR2 is an Edge. Go look at the video Rick Roy did when they released the Edge. It will show you it's capabilities.

Fr2 or Fr2 evo? Either one is not an edge. Fr2 is totally different. Evo is closer but the Edge has deeper chines,newer ones have deeper and totally different rails. You picked the right ski Nick. Almost every year we sell more v2s than sometimes 2 models combined. This year we are selling flatwater skis the most.

FR2, FR2 Evo, Edge. About the same progression as the 3 or so versions of the SV's. Each model gets a little better. I rode Stanley Dunn's SV Pro last week. Thst is a solid handling ski. Almost like the turning capability better than my edge in flat water.
