Update:
The maiden voyage was last night. I was very pleased with the performance of this ski. The power to weight ratio is insane! That little Kawi 830 runs very strong, and is still great on fuel. And I am still breaking it in. The first brapp, I was pretty much upside down with sick air! this thing will flatwater backflip, I just have to learn how to handle this monster! I have'nt even used the trim yet. not used to having it and forget it's there. I didn't install the dual exhaust, but it sounds awesome with the xmetal waterbox. Clearance with that 800 tank is tight, but the pipe run's pretty cool, even with the water screws... bottom 2 closed, top 1/8 open and flow control valve on chamber inlet. I have not made any carb adjustments yet. will tweak it more after it's broke in. I wanna get back on it, but raining (sucks). I don't have many new pics of the last phase of the build, I was in a zone! Oh yea, fogot to mention, girdle kit for kawi motors is a waste of time and money. And a pain in the ass, you have to machine (grind) material off the four corners of the cylinder for the long bolts to clear.
Thanks for the compliments Roo, means alot considering the badass machines you've ridden! Can't wait to ride again, and can't wait to ride that 1200 FREAK! Koolaid! haha
