KTM, the holds arn't done. They'll be semi adjustable "Ricky-Bobby" holds. Updates will be made in my other build thread.

You could put in a waterproof switch inside the Yamaha S/S housing and run the extra wiring down the harness cover. That part was a nightmare but got it to work! Don't have to sit on your knees to flip the bilge switch mounted in the tray!

Dude Tyler thats badass!

I got the LED from here: http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/led-wired-bolts/bolt-beam-12mm-led-light/1494/

But its REALLY bright, even in Blue. Thats partly why I tinted it black. Might look around at different options on their site.

I'm am so happy with the name you picked...love it

Looks beautiful, Robin! Where did you get the LED light? I need one for my dual rule 800 in my RN. You know you can leave a bilge running while you ride and it won't even come close to draining your battery. Heck, half the time I leave mine running all day cause I forget about it, it's so quiet.

I'm running a lithium battery and I don't want to risk discharging it when the ski isn't running. Hence the Blue LED to remind me that its on.

Texan33 where'd you get that button?

Looks like Yami-Rider and Joker got that covered but I got mine from Ebay much cheaper than $18. I forgot how much I paid but I'm certain it was under $10 bucks shipped.

Sweet, dude! Ordering one right now!!

I can post some pictures of the switch inside the S/S housing for y'all if you want.

That is the main problem with me because I'm deaf. I can't even tell if the bilge is still running without taking the hood off. Plus, I don't like the bilge pumps running dry. It can airlock. LED light is the way to go or get a automatic pump. My sxr has an automatic pump with an override switch.

From this guy? : http://www.ebay.com/itm/130921929969?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I like the price a lot better....I wonder how well they would hold up?

Nah. I didn't buy that one. I just looked in my Ebay account. This is the one I bought.

For the extra couple of bucks why not support a fellow X Member that is selling an American :usa2: Made switch vs. some unknown that is most likely selling a Chinese :skull2: made switch?

I didn't know there was a member here selling the same switch I bought by then. :dunno:

Took the Chan to the lake Saturday morning. The Wife had a prior engagement, so I left the RN at home.

Water was a lot better, wind wasn't quite so bad.

I installed the Jet Dynamics intake grate Friday night. Many of the other BC owners say they like the ski w/o a grate (other than to stop debris), but I think I like it better. For now anyway.
Still getting acquainted with the ski, figuring out her moves etc.

A few things I learned: This ski has a ton of 'pop'... meaning that with a Jet Maniac Big Bore (760ish) motor, a mag pump and a hooker 10/16, this thing will really jump out of the water whenever you want, especially from low speed. And thats with a long ride plate too. I'm not comfortable with cutting mine yet... but I can see it happening eventually.

Mr Miyagi took it for a spin and was really impressed with the power and handling. I was surprised, hes somewhere in the neighborhood of 220lbs, and the last guy that size wasn't a fan. For reference, Mr Miyagi is riding a glass ROK this year. His exact words were "I liked it a lot more than I thought I would, if I wasn't so tired i'd keep riding it, its fun." Pretty high praise IMO.

He said it rode a lot flatter than he thought, and had as much 'pop' as glass XFS with a 900cc+ motor. He said the motor felt perfect, which is pretty cool, I haven't really adjusted anything since Chris (JetManiac) set it up and shipped it. Same tune as I had in the RN too...
I'll occasionally bitch about how much I spent on that motor, because I bought a complete motor from scratch, had nothing on hand. Honestly, buying something that is pretty much new/ top to bottom has paid off for someone like me, who is 'tuning challenged'. I haven't had to wrench on it once.

Oh.... The other reason Mr Miyagi didn't want to ride it any harder/longer?

Cause the knuckle head who owns it....

Its not as bad as it looks.... No more riding until I get a limiting rope though.
