I've depleted my 54 gallon drum of VP-C12 fuel, and just picked up a replacement 54 gallon drum of VP110. I got the VP110 drum for much MUCH less than a drum of C12. As far as I understand the octane ratting is only 1~2 points difference and I know folks run either. Does anyone know if I need to change anything tuning wise? Compression-wise/limits? I think C12 is a little better but man.. I saved a bunch of money by switching.

Check the lead content and if the oxygen number is different. More lead I’ve found less jet and more oxygen more jet. I don’t think those two fuels are that different. Slight screw adjustments may take care of it all.

Hey there, I use to be a dealer for vp race fuels. The give very good descriptions of their fuels. VP 110 is for compression ratios that are 12:1 and below where C12 is for 15:1 and below. Very small difference in octanes. Another good fuel is the VPR. It’s around 100 octane but has some oxygen added to it to help it flow n burn. It’s a great budget race fuel. Good for both 2 n 4 strokes. With that being said, making that switch you probably might only have to make a screw adjustment. Wouldn’t sweat it too much.
