I know you guys probably have this worked out but that X2 steering setup has the steering arm on the wrong side,it will steer backwards.

We have been down that road once before, got it fingered out :icon16:

Steering buttoned up, all the fab work is done now its time to start on paint then final assembly :bananapowerslide:

Final weight, 17 lbs, subtract that from the factory mount and pole and I don't think its too bad, plus we weren't shooting for light weight starting with a stock SXR.

I figured you had a plan for that steering problem,nice job.If you want the bearing numbers for the bearings and it happens to be a 92 up steering setup PM me,and I will walk you through it.

nice job, surely you not just putting a plain ole weak sxr motor in there? I heard those 1000cc polaris motors run well.

i think its an older steering stem like an 86?? the bushings and stuff are ok and tightend up good. well try it like that and see what we think. thanks for the offer WFO. motor is gonna be a limited 800 with just wetpipe and head. ramjet were sending the hood your way later this year so you can splash some lighter glass hoods. then i can gets me a lighter hull and we be jammin.:bananapowerslide:

Paint progress, hood glued and bolted in, primed and ready. We got the first color on tonight, second color starts tomorrow.

Well, we took a year off from builds last year so we were ready to kick the door down. I now know why conversion hoods are so expensive, we have been working on this thing non stop for well over a week, but I think the pay off will be well worth the effort.
