2006 SX-R 800 for $4,500

factory wet pipe main and pilot jets in carbs changed for pipe
top loader scoop grate (what does this do? high speed, freestyle????)
pole spring tensioner
aftermarket turn plate, bars and grips (will update when i know model)
racing turning sponsons (just under rail in back)
50 hours of riding

if you feel comfortable with it than its worth it. I bought an 08 this past july for 4200. Its completely stockl, but the aftermarket parts you listed aren't going to make a huge difference in value

That is a relatively high price in my honest opinion. All modifications listed are the most common modifications on all skis, none of which honestly reflect a re-sale value. The one mod that is best is the factory wet pipe. $4000 at most unless it is just in perfect shape.

I agree he was about 500 too high on that price. I got lucky and got an 06 recently with about the same mods for 3800.

2300 for an 05 is a great deal, not very common. Now I just wish roundnoses from 96 or 97 to 01/02 weren't so overpriced.

what is so special about 96 to 02?
really looking to get a super jet but they are so hard to find

Nothing is special about them. I picked those years because anything 2003 and up still should have a somewhat high resale value. Some SJ'sI see from 96, 97, 01, are up for $3000 or more...which is a total rip since most of them are stock motors, b pipes, footholds, and maybe a pole or paint.

Too high in my opinion. But you guys getting SXR for so cheap dang I wish it was me. I need another ski for friends and ME to ride
