OK what the hell? I ride in salt water one time and now my friggin prop is frozen to my friggin driveshaft.

I've hosed it down with penetrating spray every day for the last week so where do I go from here?

The blowtorch? The hammer?

L'il help.

that sucks, did you use grease on the splines last time you put the pump in.

use a chain on the pump, hook the other end of the chain to the truck & floor it. JUst a thought

Your talking about the short pump shaft right? Always install with antiseize and torque to about 50 pounds.

I put a long 2x4 against the pump and whacked the bejeesus out of it* to no avail last week before the penetrating spray.

*There have been other things in my life out of which I have also whacked the bejeesus but that is neither here nor there.

Thanks much.
No prob, cheif. I feel for you trying to tow GUMP; he gets sketchy at 5mph and starts falling off so you have to go back and get him about every mile when you get up to 20-40mph. I need to install some mirrors so I can see when he's let go. You're supposed to NEVER LET GO.

But I kind've enjoy towing him anyway :)
