SX-R Vs. Superjet

I can always use more practice , but when you have rocks, I mean boulders, to one side you and Million dollar charter boats to the other side of you, who by the way, don't care if they swamp you, it gets pretty hairy getting out there. There are quite a few ski boats littering the bottom of the jettys. I have been told there are a lot of sharks in that area because the boat captains throw out the dead bait fish and cleaned fish off there boats. I have not seen any personally, but a girl just got chomped just a mile down the beach last year. It made it on Shark week last year at Miramar Beach, part of Destin. Point is, I need a reliable ski, it looks like everyone is pointing to a SJ and I am currently working on a deal on one. I appreciate everyones comments so far.

Hey Guys I found a 94 750 SXI with a complete West Coast engine setup. It's a one owner craft for $1250 with the trailer. I think I will pick this up to play around on until I find a nice superjet.

I love the brute force of the SX-R.

As far as jumping goes, to me it really doesn't matter as I can't land anthing. :Banane01:

Noticed you're in Ft. Walton. I'm in Panama City---let's get together and ride sometime.

If you are riding a lot of chop and aren't looking to do flips or barrel rolls, the SXR is a killer ski. It is faster, easier to ride, (definately easier to ride fast), and is real stable when jumping.

If you are looking to do flatwater freestyle or start flipping and rolling right away, the Superjet is your ski.

Rosie you Rock! Nice Pics! Glad to see the Kawi boys and girls finally showed up to this thread. Royal Flush I am going to take you up on a ride as soon as I get one.I am talking to Dan(at Yamaha) about a new SJ in PC. And yes the old 750SX's are a pain, but they taught me alot about riding. I think I am going to pick up this ski just to have something to play on. Hard to beat the price. I can't make up my mind, so I will probably buy a new SJ.
