SX-R Wet Pipe Worth It?

I've used both pipes on "limited" motors. Both are great. The wet pipe is an easier install & works well.
The dry pipe is more work but pulls harder and has more top end.

Good luck on finding one used, they do show up occasionally but they get snapped up fast for anything below 700 bucks....new is almost 800 now at most dealers.

A wet pipe will give you more power overall compared to stock. You can easily turn that 48mph stocker into a respectable 53-54 mph ski with the wet pipe. a few bolt ons and some tuning. However the wet pipe is known for its great low end grunt!

You can get 50-51 out of a stock piped SXR. With the right setup you can get 56 out of the wetpipe but it takes a full package to get it. $$$$$$$$$
