650/X-2 SX vs JS

I've been riding a JS440 and JS550 for a few months now. I've gotten pretty good riding them. I'm looking for the next step and I see lots of 650SX around for good prices. How much better is an SX vs a JS?
I'm a pretty light guy so I don't think I need a 750SX or SXI Pro.
I know everyone is going to tell me to go to a SuperJet but I only find those for 3 times the $ I find SX's for.

A 650sx is more like a step sideways IMO. They have a little more power but they feel quite a bit heavier too. I went from a 550SX to a 650SX and in retrospect I wish I would have kept the 550 and bought a pipe for it and maybe a couple other performance parts instead.

Find a cheap sx and swap that motor to the js hull viola thats a big step up from the 440,550 there is a bunch of thread out here or in pwc that can help u to do the swap goodluck

I have ridden them many times, I really don't see what all the fuss is about

This is true, I they are bigger and have more power. But if you are like me (smaller, I'm only 5'9" and 140lbs) I can really kick and move my 440, it is a lot harder to move the 650 (for me any ways) And the 650s are a lot wider and feel more stable.

Just do what I did, and have both... haha
