SX/SXi/SXi Pro Sxi Pro rear sponsons

Anybody running with the stock rear sponsons removed? If so, hows the handling? Im more into freestyle/freeride and it looks like the ski will slide more with them off.

I think the ski still handles really well. The sliding if any is really controllable and predictable. BUT along with removing the sponsons I also trimmed the back lip off. Dont know if that makes it slide that much more but the people that hop on it love the way it handles.

yeah i was thinking about trimming the back lip off the rear corners as well. i figure the less drag, the better.

take them off.
even the racers removed them.
