sxi pro sank

so i sank my sxi pro a few weeks ago, wont get into details but i left it tied up for way too long and the waves beat it up till it sank, so i fogged out and basically winterized my bigpin motor. so i set about putting my FP limited pipe on my small pin, installed msd, ac handlepole and pump with skat swirl in it onto my 93 sx hull.

the only thing holding me back from hitting the water is a 155 main jet for the stock 38mm keihin carb, will be into october b4 i can get one locally.

i have a bunch of jets but none are what i need, so i have a 145 adn i wanna try drilling it out to 155. i know i could find a way to measure (ie;torch tip cleaners adn vernier/try till i find a tight fit. but i was wondering if there is a link or thread that might have dimensions of keihin jets

You can do the metric conversion yourself. 155 means it has a bore of 0.155 mm = 0.0610". A fractional drill bit 1/16" converts to 0.0625", that would give you a probable size of approx. 158.
145=0.0571", 150=0.0591", 155=0.0610", 160=0.0630". BTW, a #53 drill bit measures 0.0595", that would give you a hole in the low 150's

perfect! that is exactly the info i needed. i wasnt sure if 155 was .155 of a inch or cm. but now im off to the hardware store to buy a tiny a$$ drill bit so i can go for a ride.

goin crazy watchin everyone ride adn having 1 single jet hold me back

Well wen my ski sank i decided to winterize it and start rebuilding. but i needed a ski to ride for the last few weeks of the season. so i put the AC pole, pump, msd into the 93 sx with a small pin motor i had in my house.
But it had a stock 38mm carb and with my factory pipe it needed re jetting. wen i ordered the jets they said no problem, now they are on back order till october.

i used a 1/16 drill bit and drilled it out the stock jet. put everything together and took it for a rip tonight and it was awesome, it ran better than my my sxi has all year. i have a milled head coming my way that i got on a trade, might jus toss it on too. thanks for the help

i took it home and fired it up on the trailer for a bit, cleaned the plugs a bunch of times and fogged the chit out of it. then started to defoam the hull and install footholds, bilges ect.. jus started that job
