^Nice truck transport thing you have there...thought about how I could do this with my SJ since I am tired of pulling around a double trailer with only one ski on it...how difficult is loading/unloading at the ramp out of the truck?

Thanks..., the truck bed method works well and it's a one man job, that's the way I designed it.

At the launch, drop in; I just back the truck in till the water is 1/3 covering the rear wheel, put in park, step in bed, un-pin bow and slowly back/push it in. No problem.

Putting it back in the truck. You can't just pull it in from the water, too heavy! What I do is; with truck in the water so the gate is aprox 8-10" above water, lift front of ski so the bond bumper rail is resting on the edge of gate, go to back of ski, start ski, goose the throttle while pushing down on rear of tray. Ski hops right in, engine off, push ski in all the way, climb in bed & secure bow pin, drive away. No harm to ski or truck (I have a plastic edge on the gate).

It's kind of a finesse thing and may take a few before you get it down.

Who did your handlpole? I like it.

Why straps over footholds?

Looks like your trailer barely fits the garage, I bet that takes some finessing to get in and out. Haha!

Nice setup! I've been looking into picking up one of those handle poles from PLD on pwctoday.com but it won't let me pm him??? Is there anyway you have his phone #/ email or something?? The same pole on this site is nice but a little more pricey.. Please help!! need to get back on the water!!

The pole is pretty sweet and I got it from PLD from PWCtoday, see http://www.pwctoday.com/showthread.php?t=293818
It fit with all my Kawi parts. Very good transaction. You can get them any length.

Less cash/install time/effort for the footstraps, plus I didn't wanna cut my virgin hull potentially water logging it, like I've seen some skiis with holds. Strap are fine for me. I'm happy with them, they work well.

The garage is a 3 car; 2 up front and 1 in back (my man cave). Not really a problem. I just back the trailer into the 2 car area and push them straight back. To get to the closet in back, I just step on and over it. Probably 6" on each side.

I use to have his email although I checked and cleared it out since it was a while ago. He is on the thread quite a bit, you should be able the connect with him. My communication with him was always good.

I just glued and screwed two pieces of 2x4s together and trimmed/cut it accordingly with a table saw and band saw. Filled it in smooth with wood filler, sanded and painted. Added hydroturf on the top (2 or 3 layers) and bottom (one layer). All set..., look good, easy job!

hows this thing hit off the bottom end? my cousin rides a sxi with the same mods except a 13/18 (i think) swirl prop and it feels pretty doggy on low end. think it may just be carb problems.

Great looking ski though!
